SPATIAL & TECHNICAL DESIGN

TILDA HERON.

SPATIAL & TECHNICAL DESIGN.

I'm a spatial and technical designer with a background in architecture.

I work with artists, design studios, and fashion designers to translate ideas into buildable form, developing spatial concepts into precise 3D models, technical drawings, and visualisations for fabrication and production.

I bring clarity to the process, bridging concept and execution so projects move smoothly from idea to reality.

FLECHAZO TOUS X ISABEL + HELEN
BARCELONA, ES
2026

Client: Isabel + Helen

With Isabel + Helen Studio for Spanish jewellery brand TOUS, developed for the launch of the brand’s Valentine’s Day collection at its flagship store on Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona.

The installation interpreted the concept of flechazo; the sudden, intense feeling of love striking instantly and leaving a lasting mark. Arrows and hearts taken directly from the jewellery collection formed a kinetic composition that spun and intersected, capturing the suspended, dreamlike energy of falling in love.

Working from the studio’s creative direction and initial sketches, I developed the project into detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and fabrication-ready files for production in Spain. The final installation was fabricated and installed in Barcelona using these models and technical documents.

SINÉAD O’DWYER SS25, EVERYTHING OPENS TO TOUCH
OPERAPARKEN, COPENHAGEN, DK
2024

Client: Sinéad O’Dwyer

Working under Sinéad’s creative direction I develop two large-scale sculptures and a series of bench designs for her runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week, in the grounds of the Opera Park.

Working from lifecasts of model Jade O’Belle, that Sinéad created during her master's degree, my role spanned 3D scanning, sculptural refinement in Rhino 3D, and the production of digital construction files and technical drawings for fabricators in Copenhagen. I also contributed to material sampling, fabrication coordination, client presentations to Zalando, and the design of accompanying digital invitations.

The sculptures extend Sinéad's lifecasting practice, which challenges the fashion industry's narrow ideals of fit and form. With Henry Moore as a reference point, materials were chosen for their opposing properties, rigid and yielding, matte and reflective, creating tension through contrast.

The bench designs echo the woven texture and stretch of Sinéad's signature Squiggle top, extending her design language across the full runway environment.

TWELFTH NIGHT
NATIONAL THEATRE OF CYPRUS, NICOSIA, CY
2025

Client: Petros Kourtellaris
Working alongside set designer Petros Kourtellaris on his production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, I was responsible for the technical and spatial development of the set. Taking his initial collage-based concept, I translated it into a fully resolved 3D model and comprehensive construction drawings, testing and refining the design through regular development meetings until it was ready for fabrication.

My involvement concluded at handover prior to the build and installation phases.

JACK O’BREIN, THE REWARD
CAMDEN ARTS CENTRE, LONDON, GB
2024

Client: Jack O’Brien
Following Jack O'Brien's recognition at Frieze 2023, where he won the prestigious Camden Art Centre Emerging Artist Prize, I was brought on to help realise his most ambitious sculptural work to date a large-scale installation for the main gallery at Camden Art Centre.

Working closely with Jack, I developed the project from initial sketches through to completed installation. My role spanned concept development, 3D modelling, iterative design refinement, and the production of renders used to secure funding. I acted as the technical and logistical bridge between Jack, Camden Art Centre, and the fabricators; producing all technical drawings integral to the fabrication and install.
